Who We Are…

Nestled in the heart of Narrabri Shire, North West Ag Wrecking is a proudly family-owned and operated business by Simon and Grace Bolton.

Simon and Grace Bolton began their business journey in 2011 as S & G Bolton Mechanical, later rebranding to North West Ag & Diesel Pty Ltd as they expanded. Specializing as a third-party repair service, they focused on repairing John Deere farming equipment, catering to the agricultural needs of the Narrabri Shire and beyond.

Over the years, they have not only increased their team of qualified mechanics but have also welcomed apprentices taking pride in training them into their trade, which led to the hiring of an Operations Manager to manage the daily operations of North West Ag & Diesel.

In the 14 years since their inception, they have adapted to the evolving farming industry. Notably, they identified a demand for bonnets in the 8020 and 8030 series John Deere tractors.

To address this gap, they hired two manufacturing technicians to master the bonnet production process, which they now supply on order.

They are honored to take over part of the business from Danny Jennings at Murray Mallee Machinery, giving rise to North West Ag Wrecking.

This new venture will involve the dismantling of brands such as John Deere, Case IH, and New Holland, providing parts from headers, fronts, spray rigs, and cotton pickers etc.

To ensure this aspect of the business grows rapidly, they have recently recruited a Parts Salesman and a full-time Yardman to support operations.

They are excited about the possibilities this new venture holds, not just for themselves, but also for the farming community.

At North West Ag Wrecking, we don’t just sell parts; we build relationships!
